Adult visit
Initial Consult
What to bring: Any previous imaging of your spine.
What to wear: Loose clothing preferably
On your first visit to the clinic, you will be asked to fill out some paperwork about your general health and your reason for coming to the clinic. Dr Sally will then ask a number of questions to gain a greater understanding of your health concerns.
She will then do a complete physical examination including;
- Postural assessment
- Static/motion palpation of your spine
- Orthopaedic/ Neurological testing
- Chiropractic assessment
If Sally ascertains that x-rays are necessary she will refer you to a bulk billing practice. X-rays are useful to determine the health of your spine and disc, including arthritic change and to assess postural changes.
Report of Findings
On your second visit Dr Sally will analyse and explain your x-rays, including an in depth line analysis.
Dr Sally will also discuss with you how your problem may have occurred and ways in which to prevent a re-occurrence. This may include spinal adjustment, postural advice, nutrition, supplements and exercise programs. If specialist intervention is required, Dr Sally will refer you to an appropriate practitioner.
Subsequent Appointments
On any subsequent appointments you have with Dr Sally, she will once again perform a physical examination and record your history since your last visit as well as discussing any concerns you have.
